with host Sandra Maas. Mr. Gerard discussed his published stories in the highly successful
Chicken Soup for the Soul book series.

The Conor and the Crossworlds fantasy epic was also featured during the live television interview.

San Diego Library Awards Ceremony

On Saturday, January 27, 2007, the San Diego Public Library hosted a reception for local author Kevin Gerard. His novel, Conor and the Crossworlds: Breaking the Barrier, will be displayed in the lobby of the main library in downtown San Diego through February, 2007.

Kevin Gerard will teach another of his popular writing camps on March 16 at the Pacific Beach Branch of the San Diego Public Library. The Mission Valley and Mira Mesa Branches have successfully hosted writing camps in the past.

Participants, age 12 - 17, will be introduced to organic and structured writing during this 2 1/2 hour session. They will free write along with Mr. Gerard, help him edit one of his award winning stories, and edit their own work under his guidance. Every participant will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the class.

On August 22, 2007, at 4:00, Kevin Gerard will visit Dimilles Restaurant in San Diego for a reading and a free raffle. Mr. Gerard will introduce his new fantasy series; Conor and the Crossworlds, and then read a few passages from the first book; Breaking the Barrier. Afterward, he will answer questions from the audience and hold a raffle for a six signed copies of his book, and a special raffle for his favorite dragon. One lucky winner will win a signed copy of Breaking the Barrier and the dragon that accompanied Mr. Gerard throughout the writing of all five books in the
Conor and the Crossworlds series.

West Hollywood Book Fair
Kevin Gerard will be attending the West Hollywood Book Fair and signing copies of Breaking the Barrier, the first book in his exciting Conor and the Crossworlds series.
